Utsav - A festival themed quiet book
Utsav brings to you a glimpse of some wonderful celebrations in India. Without touching the religious aspects, Utsav only focuses on the joyous celebration of the festivals where we let loose, have fun, bond and get together.
Introduce to the child - Holi, Sankranthi/Pongal/Lohri, Eid, Diwali, Rakhi and Christmas.
Holi, the festival of colors makes for a gorgeous cover page. The long piston , popularly called as pichkari, squirting colors is designed for a fun color matching game that the child can sort, match, identify, name and play with.
Kite festival , as part of Sankranthi is designed as a lace activity focusing on fine motor skills. Adding to this are activities to practice zipping and button-unbuttoning. A small Pongal Pot, the Sun and green fields welcome the harvest season while Eid ka Chaand on the adjacent page brings in Eid.
